But how does our platform exactly work?
Let me guide you through the process of booking and administrating your shipment.
Step 1: Quote request
Your first step would be requesting a quote. This can be easily done by clicking on the "Request Quote" Button in the top-left corner. This will lead you to an interface, where you will be able to select the type of your container, choose your route and provide various cargo details. After you have given us all the details, just click "Search" and your quote options will be displayed.
Step 2: Quotation
Once you have put in your quote request, you will receive your quotation in real-time. This allows you to save precious time and immediately get prices, instead of waiting on the response to your quotation request. Once you have received your quotation in our platform, you can look at them in two different layouts.
One of the layouts is a simple list of available quotations, which can be sorted by cost, duration and ETA as well as ETD.
The other layout is called quote matrix (Just for FCL Shipments) and gives you the option of looking at a matrix of ETD and price. By this, you can compare different prices with regards to ETD. For example, would it be also okay to have cargo arrive one day later, but saving 100€?
In both layouts, you can filter quotations, e.g. via maximum duration or minimum free days of demurrage.
Step 3: Booking
Once you have found a quote you like, you can immediately select it for booking. Simply click "Select" and enter the billing information (E.g. EORI Number, VAT ID, etc.). Below the billing information, the cost of your shipment is broken-down into its line items, providing the highest level transparency. Lastly, review and accept our "General Terms and Conditions" to place your order.
Step 4: Administration of the Shipment
You can administrate your shipments via the shipment dashboard. There you can immediately see the status of your shipment and track it in real-time with our Track & Trace System. Additionally, you can see the contact information of the people responsible for your shipment, contact them via our activity feed, view and upload all documents relevant to your shipment, provide shipping instructions, and monitor your pending tasks, all in one platform.
